Ultralight Associations and Organizations
Ultralight Associations and Organizations also help develop, standardize and administer programs that will foster and promote practices for safe flying and disseminate information on such practices and programs to its members. And maintain a working relationship with the FAA, and other appropriate regulatory organizations, which will function to insure our continued access to airspace. Ultralight Associations and Organizations give feedback so that the USUA & USPPA can administer programs and maintain working relationships with public and private entities that will promote the procurement and maintenance of flying sites. Ultralight Associations and Organizations along with the USUA & USPPA maintain a working relationship with manufacturers and the manufacturers’ associations that will serve to promote the sport. The USUA & USPPA represents the membership at the national and international level through the NAA, CIVL and FAI. Ultralight Associations and Organizations and the USHPA recognize and reward those who make outstanding contributions to the Association and/or the sport. Promote the documentation and preservation of the history of our sport. The United States Ultralight and Paragliding Association is a proud organization serving the great sport of Ultralight and paragliding. Through programs like our Instructor Certification and Pilot Proficiency program and our monthly magazine Ultralight and Paragliding, the USUA & USPPA strives to promote pilot safety, skill, knowledge and above all fun.
